the Royal Princess has asked the marine jobs and shipping industry to help with support of 1.5m Mission to the Seafarers programme.

Demand for Marine jobs professionals is on the increase as a result of stricter regulations.

The Nautilus Committee has been hard backed by an important call from the UK Chamber of Shipping for the government to safeguard the support it provides for the training of seafarers.

Seafarers do not have a right to Cabin privacy and the customs authorities can perform searches of cabins or any other part of a vessel without any warrant or grounds for suspicion. It looks like this is not going to change any time soon as the Nautilus International union was alarmed as United States judges ruled that there will be no inspection free zones for onboard visiting foreign ships.
